My sister told me that if I swallowed watermelon seeds that the plants would grow in my stomach. She expanded on this idea, telling me that the vines would come up my throat and choke me.

I wonder where she get this idea from. This reminds me of my childhood. When I accidentally swallow some sour plum seeds, my grandma will tell me that a plum tree will grow from the top of my head! But then, I really waited and waited and it never did.
