Transitioning To Own Domain

|
Hi Everyone! I changed my blog from blogspot to my own domain: www.threewisdoms.com on Wednesday and all comments prior to the conversion will reappear within 48-72 hours. If you left a comment and don't see it posted, it should appear by Sunday.

Congrats for getting your own domain! But you are still using blogger platform? No plans of switching to Wordpress?

RoseBelle said...

@Foongpc - No, not switching to wordpress. I like and am comfortable with blogger. Wordpress is more html challenged for me. Blogger is more user friendly in my opinion.

Ok, now it makes sense. I thought I saw a bunch of comments on your posts and today they all showed zero. Glad to know I wasn't going crazy. Hope the transition goes smoothly.

Oh how interesting...I didn't know you can do this and keep your current template and all. I dropped by your blog last night and saw 0 comment and thought you didn't publish any comments. Then second guessed myself cuz I could have sworn I saw over a dozen comments on all the posts and they all showed 0. OK, everything makes sense now :)

No wonder I couldn't find your blog earlier. I thought about having my own domain too, but never got around to it. Congratulations for taking the plunge!

Congrats! The change is a bit unsettling but hopefully everything will be back to normal soon.

Oh I have been thinking about doing the exact same thing? Mind if I ask...did you use Go Daddy?

Hey, hey, what do we have here. Great to see that you're using your own domain. I've been thinking a lot about this myself lately. I'm just afraid it might affect my rankings. Maybe I'll observe your blog for a couple of months before I dive in. Good work, RB!

Same question as ModernMom... did you use GoDaddy or some other company? I came across another company before that offers the same service for less, but I`d forgotten the name!

Rosebell, Congratulations on you new domain. I hope you can write a post about this experience. I already have my own domain but it is idling in cyberspace. You see, this internet dummy that is me do not know how to migrate or use my domain name :(

Hi Rosebelle, I'm impressed....your own domain.
I guess there are more advantages having your own 'house' than renting, ha ha.
Wishing you the best of everything in your new domain....and may the Force be with you, Lee.
