Most Repeated Things My Kids Say

|
If I had a dollar for each time I hear my kids say these things, I'd have enough money for their college tuitions.

Son
'I need money.'
'Can I have money to go out?'
'Can I go out?'
'There's this new Jordan shoes that came out, can I buy them?'

Daughter #1
'I'm hungry.'
'Can my friend call me?'
'Can I call my friend?'
'Can I buy this?'

Daughter #2
'I'm bored.'
'Can I help you with anything?'
'You never play with me.'
'Can I wash dishes?'
'Who do you love more, me or K (her sister)? Me or D (her brother)?'

I'm keeping a list of my daughter's questions for a future post. Your kids seem to have honed in on some favorites - sounds fun!

Hahaha Nice post Rose.
Daughter #2 must be the least money-minded, but possessive! ;)

Btw, you'll get paid....via karmic merits earned for being a truly wonderful mother! ;)

LOL! We're not quite there yet, although I get "Can I watch TV? Can I play the computer" A LOT!

Children nowadays are very straightforward and hmmm boys would usually ask for more money. Wonder what would be your answers to all those questions. It's really hard to say no, right??

Aww, cute. If my 5 year old had her choice, she'd be "washing dishes" all day long too. :)

Jordan shoes? Is that still a valid excuse? MJ's legacy is really lingering...

Haha, some of these things are things I say to my Mom and Dad! Especially what your Son says LOL!

Early this morning I asked Dad for additional money to buy a corporate attire but it's really just for my hair LOL!

@Serline - My son loves Jordan shoes and he collects the special edition ones. I got him one edition and the rest, he earned them through good grades and volunteering in the summer - courtesy of his uncles and auntie.

@HalfCrazy - Ok, let's just hope your parents don't read my blog :)

That's funny!

My kids #1 question would be, "Can we go to McDonalds?"

HAHA. Loved your post.
BTW, I asked these questions a few years back. All I got as answers were sure, why not, Okay. But they never happened!

Toodles!

If they do, I'm gonna be in a big trouble LOL! Maybe I deserve the hair treatment anyway cos I've been good? LOL!

My kids don't ask for those, but more like "where is my shoes, where is that and where is this?

Hahahaha, I have graduated from "dollars". Now its big time....can I have a new camera? a MAC?

I think daughter #2's questions are smart!

Hello Rosebelle, thats what kids are for, either make you go nuts or being amused and entertained.
You just have fun, kids grow fast....and one day will be telling you, "mom, I am going to get married"! Ha ha.
Have a nice day, Lee.

I always say I could retire three families if I had a dollar for every time I was asked for money from my children and now my grandchildren.

It's amazing how they just know how to ask...

"Can I play a game on the computer?","Can I watch TV?"

These 2 sentences alone will make me a millionaire someday.

Have a nice day Rosebelle. Great post.
