Losing Your Mobile Phone

|
I was at the park playground with my daughters yesterday (lovely, just gorgeous weather) and while I was watching them play, a note taped on a pole caught my attention. I walked over to read it. In bold big letters, the title was "PHONE LOST". The owner lost her Google Nexus phone a few days ago and is offering a $200 cash reward to the founder.

I've read about this smart phone a while back. It is a pretty darn expensive phone!

Have you ever lost your mobile phone? I have. It was one of the worst feelings I've ever experienced. The panic and horror knowing that I lost so much valuable information stored on my phone. It was also such a fat pain looking everywhere for it and then accepting the fact that the phone was indeed lost. I think I flipped my house inside out looking for the phone because I had so many personal data, pictures, and precious videos saved on that phone. So when I saw the note at the playground, I could not help but look around where ever I was walking hoping to find the phone for the poor mom who lost it. I hope whoever finds it will be kind enough to return it to her and collect a good karma point for him/herself.

We are so dependant on our gadgets nowadays that we cringe at the thought of them being lost or stolen. I had one hp stolen before; snatched right out of my hand when i was busy gobbling up food with the other hand. LOLZ
Was sad coz there were some numbers which were only kept in that handphone.

Have a charming new week, Rose! ^_^

I had lost two handphones so far and found one so far. It is such a great loss if your handphones are expensive and you will regret that u r not being careful. BTW, I think not everyone would return whatever they found on the street especially if they are expensive stuffs. So, the best way is to be cautious and careful at all time .

It doesn't have to happen to me to experience that horrible feeling. I don't think I can live without my phone.

It was really bad to lost the phone. Hope the phone can be found or someone will return it to the owner.
Can understand the feeling of losing a phone as so many important data and contacts stored inside. It was just like when my phone gone haywire and lost all the data inside. Feel really bad.

How kind of you to search for the lost phone. I just have a very basic phone as thats about all I can figure out! I know though that people have alot of info stored in theirs, so would be awful to lose it.

Sometimes, I forget to tell myself that these things are illusory. Nothing really lasts forever including ourselves, though I must admit that there are times when it really feels good to play with these toys. That's where the problems begin, I suppose. We attach ourselves so much to these things that we forget our true nature - the best smart phone on Earth is inside our heads.

Nope, never lost one but hubby was on top of a grain truck and his cell fell out of his pocket onto the parking lot just as a pick up pulled over it and squashed it like a bug on a rug! Heeeheehe! Poor thing had guts hangin' out of it.

God bless ya and have a great week!

I hope they end up finding it, or someone honest will return it back to them.

I never lost a cell phone, but I did drop one in water before. That was the worst for me. It was like it happened in slow motion..lol.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today!!

These days, a lot of important info r stored in the fon. It's big trouble if it ends up in the wrong hands.

I doubt the person who found the phone would return it. It looks like a pretty nice phone.

I buy a simple cellphone so I would not feel sad over its loss.

It is so scary when you have stored a lot of info in your cell phone. I am so old fashioned, cause I have a very simple phone and I delete any msgs received or sent, just in case.

I hope the phone will be returned, but I doubt it.

It is true. When we lost our phone, it is not the phone that we are worried but rather the data we kept inside the phone. I once lost my phone and I lost many of my friends' phone number. I was so sad, but I am slowly recovering the numbers now.

Cell phones are a necessity. Most people cannot do without one..including me.

I lost a brand new handphone after I absent mindedly left in the toilet of a posh hotel or 15 min. After I reported to the management and security and they search high and low, still couldn't find it and never did.n Lesson learnt.

I hope she finds it. I've never lost a phone. My handset is not so expensive but I really take care of it, I don't want to lose all those valuable info and to spend again for another handset.

How are you sweetie? I hope all is well. :)
