Then she handed her grand kids these adorable puppies in baskets and sleighs:

Notice that the two puppies in the baskets are the same color. It's because pink is my girls favorite color. I was surprised to find out that my mom can make these things. I don't have the knack for sewing or anything artsy. And I suppose this is her way of giving her grand kids "puppies" for Christmas since she knows that they've been dying for a pet dog.

Oh so cute! How clever your mother is to make these adorable puppies. And how wonderful she volunteers! These puppies are the best kind to have, no barking, no letting in and out the door, no puddles on the floor...
These are so cute and very creative! And look aat their eyes, they are sparkle. I wish I can be gifted like mom.
Happy Holidays.
P.S. Thanks for the comment. I had sent you an email about the ham. I think some of the Filipino food brought to the pot luck could be lumpia (spring rolls), pancit (noodles) and maybe cassava cake (yucca pudding).
How so thoughtful of your mom to volunteer and to make them pups for her grandchildren. I think homemade gifts are the best.
